03.07.04. is a date when graffiti, mural, stencil, cut-outs, posters and stickers met under the bridge by Vistula river, in capital city of Poland. Street art jam was a part of festiwal Sztuka Ulicy and took place at open air under and near the Sląsko-Dąbrowski bridge.
Jam was the first exposition in Poland which have shown so many works in various technics.
Around 70 polish street-artists came to add your works and few guests from around the world, sent their works except AND YOU from France personally.
Whole action started few minutes after 10 a.m. First stickers infected the pillar of the bridge, wet smudges of paint sprayed.
Form of polish stickers evolves, now it's visible in great representation of them. Different shapes, colors, ideas; all in one place. People who have been walking around stopped by to watch street artists in action.
PTNS CREW pasted on the pillar huge paper tree and painter SEPE sticked some fruits for it. Effect of this cooperation is excellent. people from Cracow and Sosnowiec also appeared with big paper cut-outs. We can see here strong man from Finland and big woman from Belgium (JAAKKO+CUM).
Heading north from the bridge it's about 100m. long wall which is arranged with stencils and graffiti. Poland has a great tradition in stencils and M-CITY is a great example of it. 3.5 x 2.5m. isometric view of the city is build of modules. There's a lot of buildings, vehicles and people. Congratulations for MARIAN from Gdansk for creating this masterpiece.
Neighbour of the M-CITY project is work of IWONA ZAJĄC titled CREW (stencil portraits of her friends) and IN THE WATER-a rough mural which perfectly fits to this place by the river Vistula.
Another mural is a work of ADAM-X who pasted a lot of his IMPLANTS stickers either. A mural presents a giant Amanita Muscaria mushroom. Pieces of its deathcap smoothly floats into hyperrealistic eyes painted by graffiti artist PĄCZEK whose work begins several graffiti productions on this wall. There was many painters from Poland+AND YOU from France and they made real good job; changing ugly, dirty wall into artwork.
Not only traditional painting appeared at jam. In production of PATRYK we can see what meeting of paint and ceramics mosaic can cause. PATRYK's most known character-ceramic ladybird is a part of his painting.
Cracow crew presented great combine-work made with paint and paper (they used printing-office's waste, cool recycled now.). Same crew encircled part of the bridge with sticky ribbon.
Under the bridge people could hear hard minimal music by dj BEL.
Exposition at open space is not accidental, the aim of our jam was to bring some life into dead Vistula embankments and to connect street-artists of different domains, cities, countries.
We want this place to breath, to show people what cooperation can do and help them understand that real street art is not vandalism.
A day before jam DESL from Cracow said that this place would be the best hall of fame in Warsaw, resembling Vienna walls by Danube.
Is it true? You have to check this by yourself.
